Oh Yes it Feels So Very Good to Be Back! Yoga classes are underway!
Over the last few years, I have watched my body, change, morph, and require an
altogether different sort of movement on different days and at different times.
Honestly, these changes were much more difficult to make internally.
Yoga encourages us to breathe, modify, expand, and release. Could it be
possible to invite this yoga philosophy into how we move in each of our
microcosms of the world. Opening our heart center in an unexpected
conversation, expanding the breath to ground ourselves and soothe, shifting our
stance to allow another’s energy to flow and not be the recipient. When we care
for ourselves and our bodies—we find it easier to be kinder and gentler to
others.
As I reflect on my own evolution of becoming a gentler person, softening to my
ever changing body, and the shifting ground beneath me was graciously
supported by my deepening yoga practice. Each of our practices are as unique
as each of us are as individuals. May you find a bit of kindness in your practice.
